Bushland Regeneration & Management
Bushland Regeneration is the rehabilitation of native bush from a weed affected or otherwise degraded area to a healthier community of native plants and animals. This practise can be used on your property that backs onto bushland as well as smaller native gardens. Akuna Ecoscapes has over 15 years experience in the field and can work on projects of any scale.

The aim is to restore and maintain ecosystem health by helping the natural regeneration of indigenous plants. This is usually done by reducing the effect of weeds and things like erosion and soil disturbance, and also by revegetating the area with indigenous local plant species.

Seeing a degraded area come back to life and watching local native animal and plant species show up is one of the most rewarding things to see. Creating and restoring habitats is critically important in this era of land clearing and urbanisation.
