We design our features to fit seamlessly into your landscape with maximum aesthetics and functionality. Akuna Ecoscapes specialty is recreating a natural aquatic ecosystem that is naturally filtered and does not use chemicals. Our features are not only a beautiful addition to your home aesthetically, they also sound amazing and attract a diverse range of wildlife and create and important water source and habitat.

We work with sustainability as a core value and avoid using concrete in our features. We use real rock and a recyclable rubber liner on our streams, waterfalls, and ecosystem ponds. We aim to source our rock local within 100km from our projects and only use energy efficient equipment, pumps and low voltage lighting.

Our features are naturally filtered using biological filtration, and plants. Your feature will grow and mature with age growing more beautiful and established. This natural approach means that upkeep and maintenance is at a minimum.

 

We love to establish beautiful gardens around our features and further create habitat for frogs, insects, birds and other wildlife and with the addition of edible plants and fish you have your very own aquaponics system.
